Back to work

Now we are back from Taipei, and back to work.
So tired.
Hehe, after 6 long years, we are finally married under the law, and our church wedding will be in about 4 to 5 years time.
Our house would also be ready in 3 years, yay.

Taiwan Day 5 (25 Nov 2011)

This is our last day in taiwan, we wake up alittle later then usual as we pack our stuff till quite late the previous night.
We went down to the cafe to have our breakfast, after that we make another visit to the post office again, as there is still more maggi mee to air mail back.
After that we went back to the room and took our things and get ready to check out.
We ask the receiption if we are able to leave our things in there while we go around, and also ask if they are able to book a taxi for us to return to the airport.
They book a taxi for us to return to the airport at 2pm and our bag was left with them for the time being.
We went to Ximending to walk, but there is nothing much to walk.
So we decided since we still have time we go to Din Tai Fung to eat haha.
We waited so long to be sitted, and we have to share table with 4 other people haha.
The Dim sum is so nice and compare to Singapore, the serving is more haha.
We went back to the hotel and the taxi have arrived for us.
We went to the airport too early, we walk around the airport but there is nothing much as the renovation has not been completed.
Our flight was delay for about 30mins haha.
For the flight back, we book the seat with extra leg space just by paying a little more, but it worth it.
There is more space for us to stretch, and it is not as cramp as the other normal seat.
My family will be fetching us from Singapore airport, and the flight arrived so late haha.
Bye bye Taiwan, we will be back again. Hehe.

Taiwan Day 4 (24 Nov 2011)

We went to Ximending and all the nearby places to walk.
It a funny thing actually, as we stay near the area but we have not walk there since we have arrive either than to eat dinner at KFC, haha.
We went to the camera street, where there the whole street is selling camera stuff.
Dear dear buy a canon lens, and i buy a polarid camera and also 10 boxes of polarid flim, 5 for my cousin and 5 for myself.
We also went to the carrefoul to buy the maggi mee that my brother and his gf wanted.
Haha we buy so many, and we need to air mail so many back haha.
After that we went to the post office to mail the maggi mee back to Singapore haha.
For dinner we went to the convinent store below the hotel, buy some food and make hot and we eat in the hotel and we spend the rest of the time packing our things for tomorrow check out.

Taiwan Day 3 (23 Nov 2011)

We went to the Beitou hotspring mseum, there is nothing much in the museum, we just took a few pic, we spend less than 30 mins there haha.
After finish walking the museum, we went to find a private hotspring that can accomodate just dear and me to enjoy the hotspring.
We ask the reception for tourist about the 北投亞太溫泉生活館, but was inform that they are currently having some renovation, therefore we ask for a recommendation.
They recomended the Beauty Age hotel, it is less than 10 mins walk up from the location of where we are.
We book a room for 1 hour to enjoy the indoor hotspring.
I on the tap for the hotspring water to flow into the bath tube.
It is too hot for dear dear, so i release some water off and turn on the cold water tap.
We enjoy the hotspring very much, the room is clean and the bath tube is quite clean.
After we finish the hotspring, we went to a nearby place to eat follow by going to Danshui.
We pay a guy to help us draw a portait of dear and me, it is so nice and he draw it within 30mins haha.
We play the games and eat and shop around Danshui old street haha.
The oringinal plan of going to Yuren Matou to see the lover bridge and the sun set has been forgotten as it is too late to sit the ship over.
We spend too much time playing the game and shopping.
I end up with 3 soft toy (Snoopy and bobdog) haha.
End up we have to take a taxi back to our hotel as we have buy too many things haha.

Taiwan Day 2 (22 Nov 2011)

We ate our free breakfast cater by the hotel, and we proceed to sit the MRT to the Taipei Zoo station.
We went to the zoo, the zoo is not as organise as compare to Singapore zoo.
We only paid about SGD$2 per person as we have the youth travel card.
After walking in the zoo for about 3 hours, we did not finish walking the whole zoo, as it was too tiring to walk up and down and also there is nothing much different animals from Singapore.
We exited the zoo at about 2pm plus at the top zoo entrance and when to sit the makong cable car upwards.
The cable car uses the Easy card to pay and is calculated by the the stop we get up and the stop we get down.
It not as scary as what i think, but for someone like me who is affaid of height, the journey is pretty scary, but dear say that it is not scary at all.
We when all the way up to the last station.
Once we arrive at the top, we was hungry, so we went to one of the food stall there.
We order the ma you zi mee suan and cold red tea for myself, and order beef noodles and latte for dear, as the chinese words that i know is only limited to this few haha.
After finish eating we went on to contiune walking around the area, and we found quite a nice spot to drink coffee and tea while relaxing again.
Originally i planned to go to the tea plantation, but we ended up sitting on one of the cafe there drinking coffee and tea, and we lost track of the time.
The atmosphere is very calm. It is a very good place to sit and relax while drinking a cup of coffee of tea.
By the time we decided to walk to the tea plantation, it was already closed, haha think we relax for too long.
When going up, we sit the normal cable car which we are unable to see the bottom, but when we are going down we sit the cable with the bottom glass panel, but lucky that the sky has start to turn dark, and i am unable to see below.
After that we went to sida night market, it does not have much things as compare to roahe night market.
We return to the hotel, and we went out to the nearby ximending area to find for food, we ate KFC for dinner.
Haha, Taiwan KFC does not have chilli sause, they only eat the chicken with pepper and salt.

Taiwan Day 1 (21 Nov 2011)

We reach Taoyuan airport at about 12pm plus, the airport is currently undergoing a renovation.
Originally we wanted to sit a taxi to our hotel at Taipei, but end up i change my mind and went to look for the bus termnial to go to the Taiwan high speed rail to go Taipei.
Before we go to take the high speed rail, we went to find the counter to do the youth card, the youth card is available for those between the age of 15 to 30.

At the airport most of the things do have english wording and direction, and it is quite easy to find the way to the bus termnial, we buy a ticket from one of the ticketing counter.
As our stomach is getting hungry, we went to the cafe at the high speed rail to have our lunch, the food there is not bad.
After we have our lunch we went on to buy a ticket to Taipei, we buy a ticket that have seating.
After we reach Taipei rail way station, we went to buy a easy ticket to sit the MRT to ximending where our hotel Just Sleep is at.
We got lost after we arrive at ximending, and we end up asking people for direction to our hotel.
Lucky that Taiwan people are friendly and will tell us the direction, just that the direction that they guided us was in chinese, and the both of us dont quite understand chinese, end up the person use hand to point out the direction to us. Haha
Finally when we found the hotel, the counter inform us that the room is not ready yet and to come back after 5pm to check in.
So we went to the Long Shan temple by their MRT, and after that we were trying to find our way to walk to hwa hsi jie one of the night market and we got lost.
After that as we saw the time was about 6pm we were trying to find our way back to the hotel to check in, we went to any of the bus stop, and we found that there is bus that go back to ximending, we went up the bus and found out that we were more lost after that.
We reach the interchange for the bus and we are lost for good, haha.
We cross the road and we saw the same bus no, and we went up the bus, and this time round we ask the bus driver if the bus will reach ximending.
The bus driver is so friendly, he talk to us and told us that he guess that we were lost and inform us that we do not need to tap when going up the bus. He guide us around the area that he travel and inform us of the attraction on the way, and also inform us to stop at ximending.
The people in Taiwan is really very friendly, whether it at the airport or in Taipei inself.
By the time we reach the hotel it was already 7pm and the sky has turn dark, we check in and get ready to go out again to have our dinner and also to go Taipei 101.
We went to sit the MRT again, and we ask for direction to Taipei 101, the person inform us that we still have to sit another bus before we are able to reach, he told us that after we exit from the station there is a free shutter bus to go Taipei 101.
We went out and we do not know which is the free shutter bus, so we saw a bus that put Taipei 101, we board the bus and we ask the driver if the bus go to taipei 101, the driver say yes.
After we have reach Taipei 101, we went to the counter to buy tickets to go up to the highest floor.
The lift that is going up is so fast that it cause my ear to be block again, after taking some picture and exploring, we went to the basement to eat MOS burger. The taste of the burger is so much different from Singapore haha.
After that we went to Roahe night market, we buy a belt and a bigger bag there, as we walk along the night market we also buy afew present, we saw mango xue bing stall.
We stop and eat the mango xue bing, the serving is very big as compare to Singapore, and it is also quite cheap and it is super nice.
But eating something so cold in a cold winter night, I feel more cold after eating it haha.
Lucky we are walking and or we will be very cold.
We went back to our hotel after finishing at the night market, we put the things down.
Taipei seems to be dark quite early, it can get dark from around 5pm onwards.

21 Nov 2011 Bye Bye Singapore

We wake up at about 4.45am later then what we have plan to wake up to bath and get ready to go airport.
I faster when to bath and call dear to go bath, dear headache seems to be ok and his fever has also went down.
My auntie drove us to the airport.
Once we reach we went to the check in counter first, then we proceed to go eat our breakfast at KFC.
After that we went on in to the waiting area for boarding the plane, and yes we are finally able to on a trip on a plane and not just Genting. Haha.

20 Nov 2011 The day has finally arrive

The day finally arrived and i have only sleep for 1 hour.
I woke up at 5am, bath and make coffee.
After that wake dear wake up, then follow by my 2 friends in the same room.
Waited till about 6.30am for Uncle Jason and wife to come to do the hair and make-up.
So not used to doing make-up, my eyes keep tearing, feel kind of uncomfortable as it my first time putting on so much make up product.
When my eyes is close when doing the make up, i can hear alot of clicking sound from the camera.
My family also has started to wake up and change and do make up.
Make up and hairdo has complete at about 8am plus.
And dear parents, godparent, brother, cousin and my friends have arrive.
At about 9.50am, the solemnizer has arrived.
Guo Wei went out to fetch the solemnizer to the chalet.
The solemnizer is funny, and also good.
Everyone was laughing at the way he held the solemnization.
Dear dear has read his vows and when its is my turn to read my vows.
I can remember every single word in my mind, but i am too nervous that after saying half way, I became too nervous that the words could not come out of my mouth. So paisei, the solemnizer say that i can actually read from the paper.
Ah Ma suddenly dont feel well, after we have sign the paper.
And once the solemnizer has go off, Ah Ma and my family went into the room.
I wasn't allow to go in the room becos they say it my big day and Ah Ma dont want me go in today.
I ask dear to call ambulan, and all i could do is to stay outside the room and worry.
After that the peramedic say that my Ah Ma did not have a heart attack, and her heart is normal, she might be too happy that cause her to have hypertension.
I was too worry for Ah Ma that i did not entertain my friends and they left awhile after the solemnizer has left.
Actually it was my fault that my friends left, as I did not inform that of what have happen and also did not entertain them.
While the buffet has been setup, we invite dear family and his friend to eat first.
When Ah Ma feel much better, we take a family picture of both dear and my family together.
And after that dear family has left.
Finally i am able to remove the make up and take a bath again.
After that dear also went back to sleep as he was having headache from not enough sleep.
At first he was only having headache but after that he started having fever, and i let him sleep through out.
As we have plan to have steamboat for dinner in the living room, i started to prepare everything for the dinner at about 6pm.
Dear was still sleeping, and he say that he did not want to eat, so i let him contiune to sleep.
I cook afew thing and put on a bowl for dear to eat when he wake up and want to eat.
After the steamboat we pack up everything, and beocs our flight to Taiwan is the early morning flight, we was not able to check out on ourself.
Originally we plan to have our friend to check out for us, but last min he is also unable to help us check out, so after deciding for a long long long long time with my family to see who is able to help us check out.
We have decide to go home and check out in the middle of the night just by handing the check out form and the key to the security guard on duty.
But as there is too many things to bring home, i let dear to contiune resting first, while my cousins, my brother and me went to take the things to my mum and our home first.
By the time we came back den we proceed to check out and go home, we reach home about 1am.
Once we reach home, dear went to sleep while i unpack out afew things for the laundry before going to sleep.

19 Nov 2011 The day before

Me and dear went to Aranda Country Club first without my family.
We reach there at about 2.50pm to check in.
When we went to the counter to check in, they inform us that as the room is not ready yet, we can only check-in in about 30mins.
So we sit at the lobby to wait, and we check in at about 3.30pm.
After we check in, we go thru the checklist for the chalet.
As Helen would only come later on, we went out to look for food.
We were thinking that as there is still some time and we went to NTUC to walk.
When we went back to the chalet, Helen has already started to do the decoration for the door and the table center piece has arrive and Helen has help us to sign.
So paisei to let people start doing the decoration when we were not there.
The decoration has turn out to be what we were expecting, nice and simple.
The piece of cloth that was suppose to cover both the door did not stay on, therefore we take the cloth out.
When my family has arrived at the chalet, dear dear and me went back to dear house to collect the pastry for 20 Nov 2011 morning.
We did not expect our friends to arrive so fast, haha.
But seems like 1 of my friend Ah Ma and my auntie remember him so well for being the funny one, haha.
While my auntie and me prepare the pastry and the final touch up for tomorrow all the way till about 4am.
Dear, guowei and boon wee was playing texas poker and went to slp at about 12am.

18 Nov 2011 Collection of ROM certificate

Went to the ROM place to collect the ROM certificate to be sign on 20 Nov 2011.
As it the 2nd time we come, we are not sure of the way to drive there.
As compare to the 1st time we go during dear sister ROM, the place has undergo some renovation.
We almost got lost but we arrive way before the time timing allocate to us (10am to 11am), haha.
We have to follow the vows from the ROM paper.
After we collected the ROM certificate, we went to eat at the cafe.
The food is so so only. Haha.

Counting down, 3 days.

Unable to get the solemnizer by phone, so we email him to remind him.
So nervous, only left with 3 days.
At least most of the things has been done.
Bag also pack finish, now left with dear dear bag.
Tonight going dear house help him pack.
Tomorrow morning will need to go down to the ROM place to collect the cert.

4 more days.

Left with 4 more days, most of the things has been prepare.
Tomorrow last day of work, follow by 1 week leave, hehe.
Now left with contacting the solemnizer, collection of the ROM cert, and the steamboat for the night.
So stress, lol.

Before buffet start

Beng Heng buffet can only start at 11am the earliest.
Therefore we book a Large Kueh Lapis from Bengawan Solo, and also custard puff and chocolate eclair from dear brother-in-law store as a light snack before the buffet.
Dont know if i have the time to eat the snacks haha, i like the custard puff that the brother-in-law made.

Songs for the solemnization

After hearing so many songs, we have finally decided on the song that will be play through out the solemnization.
We choose 9 songs, but only 1 title. Canon in D is the only title, 9 different instruments.

11 Nov 2011 (11 11 11)

Congrats to the 574 couple who will be solemnizing today.
Wish all of you a happy and lasting marriage.
That alot of number of people getting married in a day.
Haha. Next will be our turn in 9 days, 20 Nov 2011, our special day.

Trial of hair do for the solemnization.

We went to uncle Jason shop, uncle Jason is actually my mother long time friends, think they have been friend since their schooling time.
Uncle Jason recommended me to highlight my hair abit so when during the photo taking, the photo will turn out nicer.
My hair was cut and highlighted to a nature brown color, while waiting for the color to stay on my hair, he help my grandma and aunty to cut their hair.
After highlighting the hair, he started to doll up my hair.
Haha, he actually quite good at it, the hairstyle kind of make me look cuter, according to my family and also dear dear.

Celebration of dear bday

It a last min planning for celebrating of dear bday.
I went sengkang compasspoint to make a cake from icing room.
Somehow the cake turn out to be abit funny, cos i am the one who decorate it with the icing provided.
Originally i wanted to do the cake without dear knowing, but somehow he is able to find me, no point running out of the car first, haha.
After the cake has been done, we went Mac to buy 2 cups of drinks, 1 coke and 1 ice milo.
We went to the heavy vehicle car park beside our house originally, but end up there is too many wild dogs running around, kind of sad that we are not able to celebrate there, as beside is our future house.
End up we went to the sengkang riverside park car park to cut and eat the cake, we also see some interesting action of other people in their own car. Haha.
We were at the park talking till about 11.30pm, till we go home.

Dear Desmond Bday

Haiz, I forget today is 31 Oct 2011, which is dear dear bday.
How could I forget something so important.
Tonight after work, must do something for his bday.

Alteration of dress

Went to test the dress yesterday for the last alteration.
Haiz, i became fatter sia.
Need to alter the dress abit bigger at the stomach area, so sad.
Need to slim down lo.
Went to buy something that can help in slimming at Vivo city yesterday.
Hopefully it will help me to slim down abit.

The date is so popular. The most popular date for this year is 11 Nov 2011 and 20 Nov 2011.
For 20 Nov 2011, i will update after 30 Oct 2011 for the total no of people ROM.
Currently left with 27 days to plan. We have near plan finish everything.
Hope to finalise everything for the ROM by 5 Nov 2011, so that we still have time in case we forget something.

Signing of AOL

Yay receive a letter from HDB regarding the signing of the AOL.
We will be going down to HDB on 30 Oct 2011 at 10.30am to sign the AOL.
After signing of the AOL, the house will belong to us.
Finally after waiting for so long, so so so happy.

Number of Couple getting solemnize.

So many ppl going to be solemnizing on the 20 Nov 2011.
As of today, for 20 Nov 2011 there is a total of 519 number of couple, and for 11 Nov 2011 there are 541 number of couple that have register in the ROM website.
Haha think, 11 Nov 2011 and 20 Nov 2011 is both a popular date for getting married / solemnization.
With so many people going around to look for a solemnizer and a decorator for 20 Nov 2011, I think we are quite lucky to be able to get Dr Phua TT to be our solemnizer for that day, and also lucky enough to find a decorater for our decoration for that day.

Final meet up for decoration

Went to Aranda Country Club to meet up with Helen for the last and final discussion for the decoration and the payment for the deposit.
We was late for about 15 mins for the meet up, but Helen was patient and she waited for us to arrived.
Helen has take all the neccessry measure for the decoration of the wall and door.
She has also show us the color of the organza which will be used for the decoration.
We are happy with the color, and we also like the color alot as it is a light peach color.
In fact we was suprise that she show us the color of the deco she will be using.
We was not expecting her to show us the color that will be using till the day of the decoration, as some might just decide on the color and inform us without showing the exact color.
We even ask on the company name and also the company history, and she told us the history of the company.
She has a very good customer service attitude.
I could not wait to see the decoration done up on the 19 Nov 2011.
Left with 37 days to the most important day.

Housing Grant Approve

Finally after waiting for so long, our housing grant has been approve.
Altought the grant is not much but it help to pay abit of the house, and also our CPF would not be fully burn out due to the BTO.
Haha, HDB is so kind to give the both of us sure a nice gift for our solemnization.
Yay, now looking forward to the signing of the LOA.
Once we have sign the LOA, the house would be ours in 3 to 4 years.
Can't wait for the house to finish building so we could renovate and finally move in.

Final meeting for Decoration

Have email and confirm that we will be meeting Helen for the final meeting for the decoration this Thursday after our work.
Will meet Helen at Aranda Country Club so she could go take the neccessary measurement for the decoration that was discuss previously.
After Helen has take the measurement, we will need to pay the deposit of $150 first.
It left with 39 days to the solemnization, i feel so nervous.
But surprisingly dear dear also will feel nervous de wo, all along he have the confident look, thought he would not feel nervous. Hehe. Another cute side of him.

Confirmation of Ban Heng Buffet

Lucky dear dear call Ban Heng to ask about the buffet for the day.
Ban Heng finally send us the confirmation copy to sign and fax or email back.
The funny thing is there is some problem, the quotation is wrong.
Think Ban Heng also found out the error, they send us a new confirmation the yesterday to sign again.
Have email Ban Heng the confirmation but they have not reply or give any confirmation that they have receive our confirmation.
Got to call Ban Heng again to check if they receive the confirmation for the buffet and the ROM table.

Dear shirt for the Solemnization

Finally have the time to update.
Went to North Point at Yishun G2000 on Monday to buy Dear Shirt for the Solemnization.
Haha, when choose the size that he normally wear, abit tight.
End up buying 1 size bigger than what he normally wear.
I still like him to wear formal, so handsome.

Never went Ban Heng.

Instead of going to Ban Heng and E-Hub to eat my waffle ice cream.
We went to Vivo City to eat my waffle ice cream.
We waited for our waffle for so long, went to the cashier to ask the sale girl.
She told us that our order still need wait another 25 mins.
And i told her that there are afew ppl which order after us have already get their waffle ice cream, so she was like er ok, i will serve your first.
Not long after i return to my seat, our ice cream is serve.
I will never going to return to Vivo City Gelare again, lousy customer service.
We are suppose to go Ban Heng today, but end up sleep too late never go haha.
Will be going to Changi Airport at around 11pm to pick up my cousin who is coming back from Taiwan, so tired.

Ban Heng has not yet email us regarding to the buffet and the ROM table, so we will need to go down again today.
After going Ban Heng, finally after so long.
I can go eat my waffle ice cream at Geláre in E-Hub.
I am so so so looking forward to ending work today.
Hope time pass faster, faster 5.30pm and it will be the end of the work week for this week.

Hehe... Made some changes to the blog...
Left with 60 days, feel like i miss out something, hopefully it's just my brain playing tricks.
As for the trip, i have read afew books regarding Taipei, and have more or less decided where we will be going for the trip.
So looking forward to the solemnization and the trip.

Seems like the usual price for the table and chairs rental for solemnization is $80.

Left with only 68 days for the preparation for the solemnization.

ROM Dress

Went to collect the dress after eating at the cafe.
Test out the dress, the dress turn out to be nice, some alteration need to be done to make it abit smaller, as it is abit too big.
1 of my sister dress also need to alter smaller, and another 1 dont need to do any alteration.
Love my dress so much!!!

Charlie Brown Cafe @ 313 Orchard

Went to Charlie Brown Cafe @ 313 Orchard before going to test the dress for the ROM.
There is full of snoopy things, we ate our lunch there, and i also buy a moon cake that have snoopy on in.
So cute.

Ban Heng buffet lunch

When to book the buffet lunch from Ban Heng at Aranda Country Club.
We book the 12 course menu, $15/pax.
Ban Heng also provide the table and 5 chair for the solemnization, so we will get he table from them at $80.
Currently waiting for Ban Heng to send us the email for the booking of the buffet, and the payment will be on 19 Nov 2011.

Taiwan trip

Finally book the air ticket and the hotel in taipei for 21 Nov 2011 to 25 Nov 2011.
We will be leaving the next day after the solemnization.
We book the air ticket from jetstar a budget airline, and the hotel we will be staying is Just Sleep at Ximending.
The hotel is just walking distance from the Ximen MRT station, about 10 mins walk i think.
It our first time going to Taipei, and we book a free and easy trip that is being self plan.
Now the only think left to plan for the trip is the place to visit in Taipei.
Reading afew books on Taiwan and Taipei, the insight guides book is quite detail on the place to visit.
Will update more once we know where we would like to visit for the 5 days 4 night.
Looking forward to the trip.

Ring Pillow, dog, ring

When to collect the ring pillow and the soft toy dog at punggol.
The dog is so cute.

ROM Dress

The dress is ready to be tested.
Has book an appointment on sat for the first testing of the dress.
Have made a few changes to the design, hopefully it turn out nice.
-_- hope i did not gain much weight that the dress could not be fitted haha.
Can't wait for sat to come.

Trip to Taiwan-Taipei

We have decided to go Taiwan-Taipei for 5 days 4 night trip.
Planning to go on a free and easy trip.
Now finding different hotel and place to stay and also to visit when at Taipei.

NATAS Fair

After work, we will be going the NATAS fair.
Going to decide where we want to go for holiday after the ROM.
I feel like going to Sungai Klah hotspring park at Perak, or maybe taipei or hong kong.
Go the fair take a look and see the price before deciding where to go.

Ring Pillow and the Soft Toy

We order the ring pillow and also the soft toy for the wall deco from http://www.theweddingthoughts.com/.
Currently waiting for the reply from wedding thoughts, we choose self collect the item as the place of collection is at blk 130 Edgedale Plains (Punggol 21).Collection would only be done at the ground floor lift lobby.
The ring pillow and the soft toy are both dogs, but both dogs are different breed.
The ring pillow would also have our name and the date of the event on it and the dog will have each of our name on it too.

New Deco Quotation

The decoration is more or less what we have in mind.

Our next meet up regarding the decoration is in mid Oct 2011 at the chalet itself for taking of the measurement.

Wonder if there is enough time for the decoration if we meet up in mid Oct 2011.

Either than the meet up for the decoration, mid Oct 2011 we will also have to pay the deposit for the decoration first as Helen was saying that she would need the deposit to buy the material first.

Awaiting the design of the final product on the actual day hopefully it will be simple and nice.

E-Filing

Just done the e-filing. The first time encounter session expired, check too many times that the session expired. The e-filing has been done on the 2nd time. The cost of e-filing cost $26. Remember previously about 3 years ago the cost is only $6. Haha, but at least one more thing done. Left with less than 3 more months to the solemnization, got to faster plan other things, and hope for the best on the day of the solemnization.

Solemnizer

Solemnizer: Dr Phua Tan Tee.

Originally the timing for the solemnization was 11am, but as our solemnizer has tried to reschedule his time, but still unable to be available at 11am on the 20 Nov 2011. He suggested that he would be available at 10am for the solemnization, and we agreed to held the solemnization at 10am.

Shoe

Went shopping at NEX at serangoon. Found a white shoe that look quite similar to the solemnization dress.The shoe is a flat white shoe with a simple ribbon.
The dress is still in the progress of completion.
Hope the dress look nice.

2nd appointment with Helen

Friday after work, we went down to east point for the meet up with Helen.
We started chatting on the design of the decoration that we wanted and also show some sample picture to Helen.
After discussing the design of the decoration, we ate our dinner at Han's cafe.
Now the design that we wanted is much simple than from the first appointment we met up at Aranda country club chalet.
As the first time we met up was also the first time we saw the chalet layout, and how the chalet look like.
We have take away the green plant that originally Helen has plan to put 2 side by side near the door entrance, as we do not really like the plant, and we decided to use a big bow with either a tiger or dog soft toy in between the bow.
And currently we are waiting for a new quotation from Helen for the new decoration ideals.
Hope to hear from her soon.

We went to the chalet to take a look at the interior.
This is the floor plan created from what I can remember seeing.
Today will be meeting Helen again for the discussion of the decorations.
Will be using the floor plan that i created and afew other pictures to discuss on the decorations.

1) rental of portable plastic white table (3ft L x 2ft W x 2.5ft H) with white Japanese satin cloth decorated with pink/peach organza scallop style drapes at the sides, 3 foldable chairs (2pcs decorated as bridal chairs), 2 white plastic stools (draped with white satin cloth and lightly decorated at the sides).

2) Main entrance decor : pink/peach organza draped over the top of door frame running down the sides (lightly decorated with flowers and green leaves twines, middle of top frame - a hanging floral pomander.

3) Pair of artifical potted green topiary plants decorated with organza ribbons and tiny flowers.

Last night met up with the decorator, Helen Cheng @ Aranda Country Club. Managed to take a look at our pre-booked unit #2303. Its larger then what i expected from the photos in their website. Anyway our decorator has proposed a few decorations for us here and there, for the event table, she will be providing her own table and 2 chairs for the Groom and Bride. After discussing with Helen, we managed to sort of get an idea on where and how we want our decoration to be. Helen told us she will give us the estimated cost via email, now waiting for her email..... After that we went to eat dinner at Magic Wok and then go home....

First RC Helicopter (Bell Model 222)

Sudden crazy ideal to fly a helicopter to carry the ring instead of using a ring pillow.
Went to buy a RC helicopter from toyrus at $29.90...
Not easy learning to fly one RC Helicopter.
Keep hitting the wall OMG...
Finally manage to fly the helicopter normally but still will hit the wall sometime.
Try to tie a string to the helicopter and only put one ring, wahahaha the helicopter cannot fly lol...
Anyway the RC helicopter has spolit...
No ideal how it spolit also...
30 mins ago i was playing and it was working fine, 30 mins after bathing, the helicopter cannot fly...
Nw looking for a new helicopter muhahaha...
